North of Boston

The history of these communities is both famous and infamous. Lexington and Concord are the birthplace of the American Revolution and home of "the shot heard 'round the world." The American Industrial Revolution can point to Lowell as its home. Finally, some say the history of the Salem Witch Trials still haunts the town. The tour guides of this area have some great stories to tell whether you're walking, taking a trolley or riding a bus.

Lighthouses

The lighthouses all along the coast are examples of the area's craftsmanship and artistry, and beacons back to the rich relationship to the ocean Massachusetts claims. Hop in a boat and take a tour of these unique local signatures.
